so real or surreal?

When I was younger, I was like any other little girls. I love to read and listen to fairytale stories. I used to imagine that these stories can happen to me or to the other little girls when we grow older. I believed that these stories are the real thing. As time goes by and as I grow older and get to experience different things that life can offer may it good or bad, my outlook in life changes.

I come to realize that not everything in our fairytales is true. There are no fairy godmothers. Instead we have our family and good friends whom we can lean and depend on. These people will always be there to help us and simply stay with us especially with the times when we needed them the most. There are no wicked witches. No ugly witches that wear long black dress, have long nails and big cauldrons. There are only people who act like witches in our life. They try to bring us down and try to hurt us. (Hmmm, but you can call these people who irritate you as witches’ hehehe...) I also consider difficulties as witches. In fairytales after battling with the evil deed of the witch, the characters become stronger. In real life after struggling through the trials, we become stronger and wiser. But then, there is still this one thing that I believe in fairytales. I still believed on true love, that there is this one person who is really meant for us and that there is someone who would be willing to share their life with us. Unlike in our fairytales, it is destiny that brought them together. For me I believed that we search for that person. (Yuck I’m getting too mushy… hahaha…) Then there is this happily ever after in all our fairytales. For me, it is up to us to make our very own happily ever after.

* I remembered watching a foreign film entitled “Enchanted” in this film they combined reality and fairytale. You guys have to check it out. It’s cute. It’s a family film.

i can say that reality is just like fantasy, we we're in love, we get the chance to meet the prince/princess of our life, we have our friends who plays the role of the seven dwarves, they're always there in times of trouble, they let us share their umbrella with us. we also have the witches and bitches who will try to ruin our life-the problems that we encounter. these things that composes a fairy tale have counterparts in our real lives
:D
